About Jonathan
A calm, experienced hand for difficult ground
Jonathan is a qualified counsellor and accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has worked in the clinical field for more than twenty-five years.
He is recognised as an educator across the human services, community and corporate sectors, and has led community organisations through change. That mix, the counselling room and the boardroom, is what he brings to a mediation, a training day or a supervision hour: a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach delivered gently, and a steady focus on the outcome you are after.
How the work feels
People are strongest when we build on what is already good in them, their teams and their organisations.
The method changes with the work, but the stance does not: safe, non-confrontational, and evidence-based. You will always know why we are doing what we are doing.
- Strengths-based Start from what is working, not only what is broken.
- Trauma-informed Careful with the weight people bring into the room.
- Practical Every session ends with something you can use.
Work with Jonathan
Start with a conversation about what your organisation needs
Whether it is a workplace dispute to resolve, a team to develop, or supervision for your practitioners, the first step is the same: a straightforward conversation about the situation and the fit. Jonathan reads every enquiry himself.
